These settings define how your quotes are calculated, how customers see your business, how your team operates, and how jobs flow from estimate to payment. This setup is typically completed once, then adjusted over time as your business grows.

1. Business Information

This section controls how your company appears across quotes, invoices, customer communications, and legal documents. Required fields:
  • Business Name
  • Business Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Website (optional)
Optional but recommended:
  • Business Logo (used on PDFs and customer-facing documents)
💡 Tip: This information is automatically injected into all quotes, invoices, and receipts—no need to re-enter it later.

2. Base Rates

This is the financial foundation of your pricing engine.

Base Hourly Rate

Set your default hourly rate used for:
  • Manual pricing overrides
  • Time-based fallback pricing

3. Residential Rate Settings

Configure how residential jobs are priced. Common inputs include:
  • Price per square foot
  • Minimum service charge
  • Story / height multipliers
  • Add-ons (screens, tracks, deep cleaning, first-time service, etc.)
Each toggle or input in the estimator is directly tied to these values.
Any change here instantly updates all new smart quotes going forward.

4. Commercial Rate Settings

Designed for storefronts, offices, buildings, and multi-unit properties. You can configure:
  • Per-window or per-pane pricing
  • Square footage pricing
  • Frequency discounts (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
Commercial pricing can be more flexible and is often paired with Advanced Quotes.

5. Pressure Washing Rates (coming soon)

If pressure washing is enabled, configure:
  • Surface-based pricing (driveways, patios, sidewalks, walls)
  • Square footage or flat-rate pricing
  • Heavy soil / oil stain surcharges
  • Minimum service thresholds
These rates integrate seamlessly with bundled quotes.

6. Notifications & Messaging

Control how and when customers are contacted. Settings include:
  • SMS notifications (quote sent, appointment confirmed, reminders)
  • Email notifications (quotes, invoices, receipts)
  • Opt-in consent handling for SMS (10DLC compliance)
Customers will only receive messages they have explicitly consented to. 10DLC compliance usually takes a few business days to get accepted to start using SMS.

7. Team Management

Manage who can access your system and what they can do. You can:
  • Add team members
  • Assign roles (Admin, Manager, Technician)

8. Calendar Settings

Customize how scheduling works. Options include:
  • Business hours
  • Buffer time between jobs
  • Available service days
  • Default job duration estimates
These settings ensure accurate scheduling and prevent overbooking.

9. Coupons & Discounts

Create and manage promotional offers:
  • Percentage discounts
  • Flat-rate discounts
  • One-time or recurring promotions
  • Expiration dates
Coupons can be applied manually or automatically during quoting.

10. Final Checklist

Before creating live quotes, make sure you:
  • Completed Business Info
  • Set base rates and goals
  • Configured at least one service pricing model
  • Enabled notifications
  • Added team members (if applicable)
Once this is done, you’re fully operational.
🎉 Your business is now ready to quote, schedule, invoice, and get paid—end to end.
